We have a spending problem. 72 per cent of budget is entitlements, that doesn't include Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid which are theoretically self-sustaining. Why does our government issue 81 million checks per month in entitlements? Who is actually working now?

The Social Security Tax Cut done a few years ago, however,  it was not being funded.  At least now Social Security is being funded.  This whole deal demonstrates the inability of Congress to cut spending.  It gives us an idea the direction our leaders are taking this Country.

If the school administration knew about what was going on or had a suspicion, they deserve the sanctions.  However, if the administration was unaware then the sanctions should not be on the entire student body but only the football program.

The PSU's $60 million dollars fine (1/4 $'s spent in State of Pennsylvania) to be utilized within child abuse grants - and the signficant penalties, ie no marquis football program; forfeiture of 112 wins - but - not the so-called "death penalty" which is the football program suspension - still affects the overall PSU climate - not just the sports…
