The PSU's $60 million dollars fine (1/4 $'s spent in State of Pennsylvania) to be utilized within child abuse grants - and the signficant penalties, ie no marquis football program; forfeiture of 112 wins - but - not the so-called "death penalty" which is the football program suspension - still affects the overall PSU climate - not just the sports arena but the entire PSU student & administrative organization.
The PSU serious sanctions addressed by Gov Tom Corbett within a possible lawsuit (media indicated an antitrust action) are to be considered as the PSU image has been tainted by the Sandusky issue - and - the shown detrimental effects (along with psychological affects) proven within the overall PSU organizational structure - as well as the State of Pennsylvania also being affected by the $ site growth depletion.
