My children were home-schooled, and they both graduated last year.  However, they would not have missed a day of school in protest of school--well, the Common Core standards for the schools.  The quality of education is not what it used to be and that is why I did home school.  I wanted my children to have the best education they could get.

Frankly, I hate that my property taxes fuel a lot of education initiatives I kept my children out of.  We did the ultimate "opt out," by homeschooling.
