So, Detroit is the first of possibly others to follow bankruptcy in the future. Let's take a look at these cities, see who is running them, and then ask ourselves what they are doing wrong. Then, let's make a list of those cities/states that seem to be thriving, see who is running them, and check out the differences in leadership. My guess is the failing cities are run by liberals who have continued to throw big money at their problems, make promises they cannot keep, and kept union bosses fat and happy. Let's hope the federal government will not bail them out, but let them fall, making them an example for others who refuse to live within their means. Change, the right kind of change, will come only when individuals and governments realize there are consequences to pay for poor decisions. While this might sound harsh, in reality it is the only way to stop this problem.
