I believe the NRCC is sending the message to SC Republicans that it is OK not to vote for Sanford. Is this a knee jerk reaction?  Did they consider all the ramifications?  I didn't see their press release. It's a tough call because Busch's campaign is being run by Obama's people.  She appears to be afraid to speak in public and has refused to be in any debates.  She is financially supported by the unions. The unions hate that SC is a “right to work” state.  She is a long time state bureaucrat.  Bureaucrats don’t create jobs unless they get out of the way.

Busch has been photographed only under highly controlled venues: her primary victory party, a walk through at MUSC, commercials speaking off a teleprompter.  All other appearances are ‘hearsay’ where she spoke for a "few minutes." She has the full support of the Charleston newspaper and they are doing a terrific job “covering for” her.  Although she has a leave of absence from work, she has not been seen in her Charleston HQ and only phoned in for a couple of minutes.  Is she completely a stealth candidate or pawn for Obama?  Was she in rehab for something?  Where has she been?

The voters have not been able to discuss any issues with her.  Like her plans for wind farms along the coast of SC? (This issue is VERY controversial in liberal MA.  Electric rates are already high and will increase significantly if wind farms go into Nantucket Sound, not to mention the effects on the tourism and fishing industries.  Look at www.saveoursound.org for more info.)  Voters need to question.  Where?  When? How much will it cost taxpayers to manufacture and plant the wind turbines? How many jobs will be created in China to manufacture?  How many jobs will be lost in SC? How much will it increase electric rates?

I think the focus is too much on Sanford's short comings and not enough on Busch the "stealth candidate" …and not enough focus on having Obama sticking it to SC if Busch goes to Congress to do his bidding...and not enough focus on what will happen if the Dems get a majority in the House with Pelosi as Majority leader. The GOP is silent and the Dems are celebrating.

Perhaps the GOP should forget about Sanford and focus on the importance of voting Republican.
