I am a Catholic and was thrilled to see the Pope elected was of the Jesuit order.   The Church is in need of a reformer given the recent tragedies caused by many of its leaders.  They need to clean up their act.   Jesuits have a tradition of academia and outreach.  In my personal experience, Jesuits promote volunteerism and activism as means of tolerance and change.  I pray the new pope is wise and loving and will make some change.
