Of course, peace would be nice, and I personally pray for peace in Israel, but how can Netanyahu trust America to force any peace agreement when he looks around and sees what has happened in Syria, other countries in the Middle East, and now with Russia?  Obama's "line in the sand" does not mean anything and the Prime Minister knows this.  Therefore, it is going to be up to Israel and the Palestinians to solve their own "family feud."  America both can and should promise to defend Israel against foes like Iran, but with this current administration how can we believe that?  Time for America to butt out [of the peace process talks], concentrate on building (not dismantling) our own military, and be ready to defend Israel when the time comes.
