While I do see the point in some non-partisan elections, especially at the more municipal levels and jobs like Sheriff and Coroner, I still like to know what I am getting.  Having to stand with a party at least gives us the direction that candidate leans.  I know that not all candidates agree 100% (probably no one does) with a party platform, having a standard that they aspire to is a good thing.  I like partisan elections.
