To quote my favorite president who said something like, "Government does not solve the problem; government is the problem," I strongly disagree with Maria Shriver.  The problem is a culture that has devalued marriage and family, one that has promoted free sex without thinking of the consequences.  This has led to millions of out-of-wedlock births and created a problem for the women who are trying to play the roles of both mom and dad. Around 1959 when the government began the aid to families with dependent children, we witnessed an increase in unwed mothers, and those numbers have only escalated through the decades as Uncle Sam has attempted to replace "Dad" by shelling out money.
