It seems it does not matter what the people think or want anymore as in the case of the federal judge who struck down a voter state ban on same-sex marriage in Oklahoma.  Since he has "stayed his ruling," I do hope that the appeals will work, and Oklahoma can remain a state that decides for itself what it will and will not accept.
