I think Republicans need to be very careful.  Attacks on the Tea party groups are not smart. Had it not been for the tea party movement, Republicans would not control the House. In NC, where I live, thanks to tea party activities, we were able to win the Governor, Lt. Gov, House and Senate for the first time in 140 years. No doubt in my mind, this could not have happened without the tea party groups working to elect Republicans. If the Tea party decided to give up on the Republican party it's gonna be a long time before Republicans will ever be able to make a comeback.
