Of course I am hoping for a Republican victory in both Virginia and New Jersey even though Christie is not too high on my list right now. Voters in that state, however, may see him neglecting his job as governor as he prepares to run for president. I like what I have heard from the Republican nominee in Virginia as he seems to believe in conservative principles. Achieving victories in both states would only elevate the GOP as the eyes of the nation are watching, so I am going to be optimistic and predict a victory for our party in both elections and hope that I am correct. When this happens, it will perhaps start a trend for more Republican victories around the country, particularly in my home state of Kentucky where right now there is a serious threat coming from democratic senatorial candidate, Allison L. Grimes, as she is raising tons of money from the Hollywood elite, challenging Mitch McConnell. Now this is going to be a race much closer than anyone would have anticipated just a few months ago. This could turn out to be the most important state race in our nation, and what happens here could really set the tone for what takes place in 2016... Interesting times ahead.
