Environmentalists will comb through a haystack to find some endangered species to stop any type of drilling or harvesting of our natural energy resources. Our ecology is very balanced and species will survive if there is still a function for them on this planet. God created all of the resources for our use. He also created all of his creatures to inhabit the world. I don't think he would have given us these resources for harvesting and then expect us not to utilize this energy for the enrichment of his greatest creation, human beings. A simple critter should not stand between the natural resources and the betterment of society.
