The Illinois Governor is doing a power grab. So many folks in leadership positions today think that they know best and that their authority is the ultimate authority and they should be able to unilaterally have what they deem best. We see it with President Obama initiating policies through executive orders or just refusing to enforce laws that he disagrees with. We also see the Supreme Court Justices making decisions to overturn the will of the people to initiate their own preferences upon the masses without the consent of the governed. An now we see the Governor of Illinois overturning a vote of the people through their elected officials to flex his own power muscle.
