I think we have turned into a hateful, unforgiving nation when we destroy a person for one word she uttered  several years ago in a context other than her television show or in her magazine.   This should be a wake-up call for everyone, demonstrating to us that we are entering uncharted waters in American history, putting us all at risk and opening the door for persecution.  America is quickly turning into a country I no longer recognize, and frankly, I am scared to death when I think of what lies ahead.
