It is still difficult for me to imagine that this is happening in the United States of America. However, if our soldiers need protecting, then they should have that protection available to them.
I know we are not supposed to look back too much, but sometimes I long for that America I knew when I was a child. No one would have been having this conversation back then as most of us were Christian or at least respected the faith that brought our forefathers to these shores and built the greatest nation on earth. Why would anyone want to mess with that? But, they did, and here we are today, heading so far in the wrong direction that it will take divine intervention to bring any measurable restoration.
Thank God for Congressmen like Tim Huelskamp who attempt to do what he believes is necessary at this time.
