The Pipeline is a "no brainer". It is a win win situation. The jobs that it will bring will be a tremendous boost to the economy. Not to mention the abundance of oil that it will transfer, which will increase our supply and thus reduce our cost. However, this administration has no desire to improve our energy situation. Heck, if we had more supply, the prices might come down. We need to remind ourselves of Obama's comments when he first ran for President. He is in favor of higher prices and less supply. He wants prices to increase and as a result, we will use less oil. The Pipeline is not something that Obama has ever wanted and he has done all that he can to stop it. Gov. Heineman has done the right thing but we shouldn't ever expect that the President might follow suit.
