The 39% was in key swing states.  Unfortunately for the RNC, the primary women voters are not in those 39%.  I still have a hard time believing that 39% of women, even in swing states, in this economy, believe abortion is the #1 issue.  I believe the issue is the GOP needs some good messengers that explain that women's health care is not the equivalence of abortion.
