The Second Amendment is still alive. The Court has sent a message to Illinois that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." This time the court got it right. In so many cases, over the past few years, we have seen local bodies, state Legislatures and even the courts, ignore the Second Amendment and "infringe upon the rights of the people." Today the peoples right to keep and bear arms has been protected. We must be vigilant in keeping it so.
