Yes.  Please please let’s look at multi-round assault weapons and concealed weapons permits and their regulations.

We are a country with the right to bear arms.  I think most reasonable people do not begrudge the hunter or the woman who wants to carry a pistol to protect herself.  Or a rifle for sport.

But, we must do a better job with regulating these machines that can kill hundreds.   The ease at which guns are purchased and the manner in which they are illegally bought and sold and traded must be reviewed.

And, the culture will need to change.  For instance, any movie that allows a Hollywood executive to make more money glorifying these guns should receive a unique rating.

The conversation and the solution is complex.  But, the comments “we never thought this could happen” and “gunned down first graders” are two phrases that are unbelievable.  The cry is too important not to listen.
