It is going to be “interesting” to see what they come up with…no matter that it is it only a “temporary fix” and will not help our National Debt.  A lot of “talk” and nothing else.

It seems to me as if Obama and his family are always on vacation.  Now that he has won a second term,  there is no urgency or desire in fixing the Country.  Obama is content with the direction that the  Country is heading.  A Fiscal Cliff is perfect for him!

I am at a loss over the whole situation.  If this was really important and the President was going to negotiate I would have thought he could have done that before Christmas.  Why does everything in Washington D.C. have to be such a big production…this is the business of the nation but it seems like…

This is to be said regarding the general working population: everyone deserves a day off or a few days break - medical research & psychologists have found that continuous 24 hours on the job cause error problems - an example: the physical system breaks down within psycholinguistic processes affecting the brain & its effectiveness.

If he didn't want to go to Camp David, Chicago would have been a better choice.  Why charge taxpayers millions in expensive travel arrangements when Michelle, kids and Grandma are from Chicago, not Hawaii? Most past presidents spent Christmas at Camp David so as to not disrupt the lives of the Secret Service and their families.

He's still a dad. That's still his home. I'm ok with it, just like I would have been for any other president.

The President is cutting his vacation short, I think, because he heard the chatter from the public about his vacation costing the taxpayers $4 million while so many Americans have not been able to take a vacation in many years. I know he has already been reelected but he will always be in campaign mode…

Maybe that was what was needed by all involved.  To clear their minds and to think about what really counts:  The good of this country.  I am reminded of something I have heard many times lately:  It's amazing what can be accomplished when no one cares who gets the credit.

Indicates his total true disregard for all Americans and the betterment of our country.
