If your AGI is over a million, you undoubtedly have a CPA that knows all of the tax ramifications. The idea that someone that shows an AGI of $250,000 is rich is not realistic. I would think a higher AGI threshold would be more palatable in this situation.

I think it's a PR attempt on John Boehner's part and am ok with it, but Republicans need to stand firm on making the Bush tax cuts permanent. Across the board tax cuts are desperately needed as well as dramatic slashes to government spending.
