I think he knows we have already gone over the fiscal cliff and there is no reason to deviate from the norm. The thought of a tax cut probably sticks in his craw. Unlike many Americans he remembers that these are actually Bush tax cuts. That is probably worth leaving town to escape from.

The President doesn’t care.  He wants to see taxpayers bear even more of this country’s financial burden while he does nothing to reduce taxes or government spending.  The President shows just how inconsiderate he really is by taking this trip.  President George W. He obviously does not care about the "little people."  And, even though he is coming back, Michelle and the children are staying on in Hawaii, costing the taxpayers hundreds of thousands more.

It has been sickening to see the president & his family living like billionaires, taking numerous lavish vacations on the taxpayers' backs, while so many people are suffering terribly due to his policies which are strangling our ability to find our way out of the mire.  Consistent with his record, he actually does want taxes to go up, and…

Well it was not surprising. What is so wrong is that we are in this position when it should have been solved long ago. I am very tired of the politics that is more important to our elected officials than the people who elected them.
