I agree that Crowley was a mistake, but not because she was female. She was a mistake because, like so much of the media, she was biased towards Obama. She was determined that he should win. Her "correcting" Romney with flawed information was an epic fail.

She was a mistake.  She did not follow the rules and she led Obama to help him every way she could.  She tried very hard to hurt Romney although she did not succeed.

I feel he may be referring to the quality of her participation, not that she was a woman.  There are enough real attacks on women's intelligence, without looking for them when they may not exist.  The real mistake was the lop-sided political bias of the moderators.

Too little, too late!

Most conservatives, at least, would probably agree. Ms. Crowley seemed to have a difficult time controlling her bias with her leap to the President's defense which almost immediately was proved to be contrary to the facts. It was not the media's finest hour, nor was it Crowley's.

This is the stuff that happens when political correctness runs amok.

I think they made more than one mistake.  They had no  people to ask fair, balanced, and unafraid questions.  MS Crowley was obviously biased and the liberal press did not call her out on it. No proof but it seemed life she had a set up question and Obama was ready with the answer and response. …

I agree she was a mistake. She was not an unbiased moderator. She was the Team Obama MVP and it was obvious. She injected herself into the debate when she defended the President's statement. The bias was evident in most of the debates but in this particular case, she was a huge mistake.
