Not surprised given both states have been run by liberals for years.

These two states do not empower the people they control people by making them depend on government.

The study didn't seem to be about personal freedoms as much as about the economics of less taxes.  So, does less taxes relate to more personal freedoms?  Hmmm.

It also showed SC to be in 15th place! That is shameful!!!

I am not surprised one bit. The more government control and oversight you have the less free you are.

I am amazed that people continue to live in states with ever increasing debt, taxes, and restrictions on personal freedoms.  I am even more amazed that they continue to vote for representatives who continue to further restrict personal freedom and pursue policies which will bankrupt their states.
