Jesse Jackson's proposed boycott of Florida is a waste of time.  Jesse Jackson, and some in his generation, can't lead without screaming racism.  Many in that generation think everything  in life is due to racism and that is just ludicrous. It's been proven boycotts don't work anymore.  Isn't there still some boycott on South Carolina?

Has Jesse Jackson made any comments on the black on black killings in Chicago? Has he held any peace vigils or marches there? I think he could make a positive impact there.

That is ridiculous.  Jessie Jackson needs to shut up and go away.  Why give him any credence at all?  Personally, I choose to ignore him and if the media did too, then a lot of our race relation problems would go away.

Boycotts of cities or of states by partisan and/or professional agitators serve only for publicity for the agitators. Boycotts, in fact, hurt the people in the community - in a state like Florida, the main industry is tourism. If businesses are hurt, the workers are hurt.
