Terry McAuliffe is a liberal Democrat.  Of course he agrees with President Obama's War on Coal.  I hope that Virginia Republicans show up at the polls.  Turnout is the key, period!

Play this up in Southwest VA and make sure the voters there turn out.

Virtually no election effect. Southwestern Virginia was not going to vote for McAuliffe anyway, for the most part, as I am sure he is aware.  He says to them he does not care about them, their families and their livelihoods.

VA has two civilizations. Northern VA is eaten up with Beltway liberals who will probably be overjoyed. The rest of the state is composed of normal conservative folks who won't be so taken with this liberal theology. Who wins this race will be determined by how many conservatives go to the polls.

Coal Miners are probably under the Union Thumb and therefore strong democrat supporters.  I doubt that they would turn against a democrat.  They should be wanting jobs and the economy to stay strong for them and hence they should be strong for sound Republican leadership.  I do not know the demographics as they relate to how Northern…

As founder of failed electric car company Green Tech, Mc Auliffe appears to have a long and questionable history of business dealings.  It does not surprise me that this Democratic Fundraiser and wanna-be Governor would be for waging a "war against coal." I hope it swings the voters to support Ken Cuccinelli for governor of Virginia.  The war on coal is doing serious and potentially irreparable damage to Virginia’s economic outlook and future.
