Are you kidding me?!  Mark Sanford is a reliable conservative Republican vote.  Flawed candidate or not, he is on our side, and the NRCC would do well to remember that and fund that.  Pelosi sure is, and they are funding the Democrat candidate, who is just as flawed.

The NRCC is making a bad choice when it comes to not funding the Republican candidate.  They have a big year in 2014 coming, and this is not the message they should be sending.

I think they were definitely wrong! We have to win this election.. They could have just kept quiet and let the campaign handle it instead of getting involved and making it worse! He is the candidate they got...work with him!

I don't think it impacts the race, but I do think it's sad that the NRCC is so sensitive to publicity. They knew he had ongoing marital problems, young children, a vindictive wife, etc. There were lots of reasons not to support him in the first place and to maybe weigh in on the side…

Yes,  but they don't help in a lot of races if  they (NRCC) don't think there is a chance to win.

The NRCC made clear that the Republican candidate in the race is experienced and knows what is required to run a campaign.  Their services and engagement are not necessary – the candidate does not appear to fit the “Young Gun” profile for assistance.
