People are moving from places where they cannot find employment and the cost of living is high, including state income taxes. They are moving to places where there is no state income tax, they can find work, live cheaper, open a business without onerous regulations… and the climate helps!

I would rather be warm than cold. This winter has been particularly cold, snowy and icy for the North and upper midwest. Many of these folks are relocating to conserve financial resources. Texas and Florida have no state personal income tax. Our son took a job in Florida for that very reason.
