When are Republicans going to learn??

If your AGI is over a million, you undoubtedly have a CPA that knows all of the tax ramifications.  The idea that someone that shows an AGI of $250,000 is rich is not realistic.  I would think a higher AGI threshold would be more palatable in this situation.

I am opposed to raising taxes but if the latest plan from Congressman Boehner to raise taxes on those making over $1Million annually will prevent us from falling off the fiscal cliff, I guess I might be in favor. In light of all the things that have been proposed, I think that it is something that could be acceptable. The other side's $250,000 mark is too low.

I haven't taken enough time to analyze Boehner's plan.  However, it appears that it would not give relief to the poor.  I say allow the economy to go over the fiscal cliff and let the Democrats take responsibility.

I am not in favor of raising taxes on anyone.  We need to look at cutting expenses instead.

I think it's a PR attempt on John Boehner's part and am ok with it, but Republicans need to stand firm on making the Bush tax cuts permanent. Across the board tax cuts are desperately needed as well as dramatic slashes to government spending.

At this point, a plan B may be the only option.  This is not what I had hoped they would conclude.   I hope the Plan B in spending reduction is significant.
