Given that the chair was GE CEO Jeff Immelt, a big advocate of creating jobs in China, was it ever supposed to be taken seriously? Obviously it was ineffective in creating jobs.

Because the "polls" don't reflect the reality of people's everyday lives. Also, the positive numbers before the election were incredulous...so... I guess now they are moving toward reality.

The idea is great, however it needs to be implemented in a way that doesn't cause state agencies to recklessly burn through money rather than have some remaining.

I hope the Journal News is held accountable for any crimes committed, and any emotional distress caused, by their article.

I found it interesting that he noticed that during the Bush Administration the response was quicker for Katrina than the response during the Obama Administration for Sandy.

Perhaps sending the "worst possible message to Israel and our allies in the Middle East" is exactly what Obama wants to do.

I'm glad the Social Security payroll tax cut was allowed to expire. I disagreed when they did it. It was a gimmick. It was like a cut to a retirement savings account. "Real people" in need who actually worked for a living, benefit from it. There is so MUCH fat to cut...like Obama's loser green energy "investments"…

If he didn't want to go to Camp David, Chicago would have been a better choice. Why charge taxpayers millions in expensive travel arrangements when Michelle, kids and Grandma are from Chicago, not Hawaii? Most past presidents spent Christmas at Camp David so as to not disrupt the lives of the Secret Service and their families.

Hire a better PR and marketing team for GOP budget strategy. Try this simple message: "Blame Harry Reid!"
