Interesting fact. Sad but interesting. I am not so sure that privately held insurance companies can be mandated to pay for anything at this time, some companies might consider this for the State of Washington but a mandate might limit the availability of health insurance companies in Washington State…as I said…interesting.

I think that the council served President Obama's purpose and that was to make the American people feel that the President wanted to be 'in touch' with us. After being elected for a second term I don't think that purpose exists any longer.

A false economy can only stand for a short period of time. Until the job market is stabilized and true growth is realized we will not see a growing stabilized economy.

I think that this is extremely bold, but if the people are being over taxed then it is also and honest step forward allowing the people more income to spend on the things they want rather than letting the State spending revenue on things that are not needed

I'm not sure that gender will play a role but I can guarantee that 'scandal' will be on the front page. So if Sanford is a great candidate regardless the Republicans will see an uphill battle due to his past. Just my thoughts.

I really do not think that the States should have to finance this with an extensive expansion (costly) of medicaid....this is not an answer or a fix...this is a bandaid.
