Why would non-partisan elections encourage more women to run? We have non-partisan elections in Charleston and it is now loaded with liberals. Before that, Republicans won those elections. I don’t think “non-partisan” has anything to do with women running.

The President has no authority to do this. It's an appropriation issue and he cannot just spend tax payer funds without approval of Congress. Silly me! What was I thinking???

The Presidenat has already overstepped his authority under the constitution. Congress needs to find a device to challenge him.
