I think it's time to quit favoring and accommodating the thugs. So yes, I stand my ground on championing the rights of law-abiding citizens.

I don't know anything about Enzi, but I think Cheney is bright, articulate, and principled. Her name could both help and hurt. I hate to risk a GOP seat, but at some point, it may be worth the risk if a senator is doing nothing but filling it.

I honestly don't understand these little exceptions, uh... "options", that either side pulls out from time to time to skirt normal logical up-and-down votes. Nuclear or otherwise. Just vote. Whichever side gets the most votes wins.

And the rest of us are weighing the evidence that the DOJ used our tax monies to fund anti-Zimmerman protests to influence the outcome of a case before/as it was being tried. And THEY'RE calling for "impartial, unbiased" justice. They're all about using public funds to EFFECT bias!

I'm not in favor of the aid, with or without Morsi. Funding the Muslim Brotherhood was ridiculous and wrong. Funding an unknown entity is ludicrous, and, as Senator McCain points out, illegal.

I keep thinking about the late Senator Robert. C. Byrd who used to be in the KKK. But of course he probably never used any racial slurs back then. So he got to be a highly respected US senator.

A little ray of sense in a crazy world.

And the last thing a baby would ever want to do is leave his/her very life to the likes of Congresswoman Louise Slaughter (aptly named, I might add). But alas, the baby has no "choice."

No. Because I actually value the precious privilege of citizenship.
