I think it's a PR attempt on John Boehner's part and am ok with it, but Republicans need to stand firm on making the Bush tax cuts permanent. Across the board tax cuts are desperately needed as well as dramatic slashes to government spending.

What these families are enduring right now is unimaginable.  Losing a loved one is always hard but Friday’s massacre is beyond comprehension for many of us.  These families are in our thoughts and prayers.  May God surround them with His love and ease their pain.
