They are definitely staged but then most ceremonies are staged.  If the remains are not identified at the time of return, they do need time to "certify" the identification or they would be accused of having a ceremony for the wrong family.  It is complicated and I see that they are trying to honor the dead and that is the whole point, that those who serve are honored for their service and in this case for the giving of their lives for their country.  I am not feeling critical.
