I have been a fan of Bobby Jindal's since before he was Governor of Louisiana. He hit the nail on the head after the 2012 election cycle when he said we need to stop being the "stupid party". I ONE HUNDRED PERCENT agree with him. American voters do not respect what can be perceived as obstructionism. Americans want real solutions and are not interested in which political party is scoring points. No matter how toxic our political environment has become, at the end of the day, Americans will respond to what seems to be the stable and logical when it's time to cast votes at the ballot box. Our main concern as a country is to be financially stable enough to live, work, raise families, and climb whatever ladder of professional success we are presented with. Sometimes, it is easy to forget this when you live inside the Washington, DC bubble.
