People.  People talking about the treatment of our veterans.  People standing for the rights of our veterans.  Mostly, people being informed about what our veterans are going through and then speaking out and demanding that the benefits that are due them and the treatment that is needed is provided in a very timely manner.  This needs to be fought for.  So how many veterans die daily due to injuries and illness that is due to their military service?  How many commit suicide daily due to the side effects of  their service and the treatment and abuse that they receive from their own?

Sorry, but when this subject comes up it’s like biting down on a bad tooth for me.  I am working on a Resolution to change the way veterans can get help to file their claims.  It is so important that it is stated just right so that it can’t be shredded and chewed up by some powers to be.  If you have some ideas to help I would love hearing.  The VA rules and regulations are difficult.  Did you know that Federal law dictates that NO ONE may help a veteran in the preparation, presentation and prosecution of an initial clam for VA benefits unless that person is accredited.  The only exception to this law is that any one person can help any veteran—one time only---with a claim.  It becomes very technical.  Thanks for all of the hard work that you do to keep people aware.
