Closing the embassies makes America look weak.  This is telling the world we are afraid of Al-Qaeda.  Our super-power status has always been something other nations could look to for support and strength.  The entire balance of power is shifting across the globe, and President Obama seems to be on the wrong side of the fight in every instance.  I am afraid Al-Qaeda will be emboldened by our show of weakness.
