While the president is happy to 'chuckle' over jobs that would be created by the Keystone Pipeline XL project, he is on a campaign tour touting his latest pivot to jobs creation. How ironic is this man and his act? A leader would never have taken his eye off the ball on jobs and strengthening the economy in the first place.
The Keystone Pipeline XL project has brought together a coalition of supporters as few issues do today - everyone from union bosses to energy workers to everyday consumers looking for energy independence. The pipeline is not a magic cure-all for our economic woes but any jobs created should not be mocked by anyone, much less the nation's top executive.
How sad that President Obama is unable - I would argue he is incapable - to inspire Americans and turn around our national malaise which has been a result of his failed economic policies and his continued pitting of Americans against each other.
