Our President should start to act like and do what a President is supposed to do, that is do what is right for our county and our citizens.  Our economy  has experienced only anemic recovery so far after more than 5 years with unemployment still hovering around 8% or even worse. We need real jobs and not government jobs!

Mr. Obama's comments at a recent jobs Rally downplayed the total jobs that would be created by saying "only  a couple of thousand for a year or two".   Considering the size and  scope for building this huge project, plus companies and workers who would be supplying the materials, transportation to and  from the site, and services for the construction crew, I think the Keystone Pipeline would provide much more that a just a few thousand jobs?
Mr.Obama has to think more about keeping  his liberal base happy  than signing on to a project  to provide thousands of jobs for Americans out of work or only able to get part time work.  It is interesting that the President was willing to spend billions of dollars on his stimulus plans that created a meager number of jobs that lasted only a year or two!   But those were government jobs not private industry and he likes to spend the taxpayers money!  It is too bad he felt he had to "chuckle" while he downplayed the number of jobs that could be created.  To me it doesn't sound exactly presidential when the American President "chuckles" while talking about any number of jobs that might help American citizens who are out of work get back to work.
