At some point reality sinks in and common sense measures must be taken to stop the bleeding and get their fiscal house in order.  I believe this was a wise decision for North Carolina.  Time will tell if these measures improve the economic situation in North Carolina.  If it proves successful, perhaps other states can follow their lead.
