It appears that Verizon, and I am sure other phone companies, were mandated by a secret court order to provide the Obama administration with phone data on every one of their customers.  I believe this is a complete violation of our Fourth Amendment rights under the Constitution.   This is taking the Patriot Act enacted under the George W. Bush administration far beyond what we the people believed this act was intended to do, which was to disclose potential terrorist activity in an effort to prevent future attacks.  I would like to know if this involved the collection of text messages between parties.  As with the other issues coming to light under this administration, we must demand that our representatives demand full disclosure of what the NSA is doing with our phone records.
