My thought is this: we know about Verizon, but why would it be just one phone company. I expect we'll find out they demanded access to all phone records. Why? So that they know everything about everyone. So no conservative gets appointed to anything if he or she has been "conspiring" with other conservatives; so they have blackmail material to feed their personal destruction machines anytime someone shows promise as a conservative leader; and etc., etc.
