In other words, Democrats supporting the White House could say things like, "the President, of course, must obey the Constitution and statutory law," instead of things like this: "we won the election so we can do what we want whether it is legal or not."
Much of the freedom and success of the United States rests on the basic Christian morality that motivates people to support good government and obey the law. It is possible for this ethic to break down and bad examples at the top certainly feed this kind of decay.
