Hmmmm, maybe the White House should change its position on prayer in school. If ones world view embraces relativism, the end justifies the means, and might makes right, there are no internal, ethical limits that keep people from this kind of violence.

Also, the White House might consider modeling legal behavior.  In other words, Democrats supporting the White House could say things like, "the President, of course, must obey the Constitution and statutory law," instead of things like this: "we won the election so we can do what we want whether it is legal or not."

Much of the freedom and success of the United States rests on the basic Christian morality that motivates people to support good government and obey the law. It is possible for this ethic to break down and bad examples at the top certainly feed this kind of decay.

Is it fair for me to "blame" the administration for the terrorism?  What if Christian conservatives were responsible? Answer: This is highly unlikely, but Christian conservatives live in the same world as natural terrorists. If they succumb to the zeitgeist, it is not as surprising as it would have been when Ronald Reagan was president and it was "Morning in America."
