I'd say Rand is still enjoying conservative kudos for his 13-hour history lesson in our founding principles. Rightly so, I suppose. It was also a bit predictable that he would win the straw poll because of the effective and energetic "Paul Machine" at these sorts of conferences. But I think Rubio would be the stronger candidate. I admire both, yet have some reservations about a few issues with each of them. In general, we're blessed to have these young leaders and should encourage them every way we can.
