If the President had stayed in DC trying to get the Republicans to agree he would have missed the chance for great publicity as he leaves sunny Hawaii to return to blustery DC. It's all about politics and he plays the game at a very high level. (Please do not mistake my observations for admiration.) Now for a confession. Recently I said some rather pointed things here about Time Magazine. True confession: I never read Time, so today, I picked up a copy at the Y which had a picture of "Bibi" on the cover. Actually, it was a good and fair article, as were all the articles I had time to read. I have to admit that I was very surprised. I will now try to read more Time and see if it has experienced a transformation while I have been ignoring it. Stay tuned...
