This is definitely an infringement on free speech and free press.  It is obviously an attempt to control what we as a society get to hear and ultimately think by a partisan with an agenda to shape our country to his image.  This is the way Communist countries work. I hope the press in this country screams because even if the president makes their "leg tingle" the next president may not.

Additionally we all know that news media are businesses. They are going to feature the stories that their readers want to hear about. There are all sorts of wonderful stories out there, but put on a newscast or paper will bore the reader or not interest them. Do we want to hear the news of the eighth grade student in Alabama who won her local spelling bee or that our Ambassador has been raped and murdered while our government did nothing (a topic our president does not consider news)?
