sandra bryanPresident Ronald Reagan was definitely not a sexist, insensitive to minorities or a pessimist. Far from it. He made two landmark appointments, Ambassador to United Nations, Jeane Kirkpatrick and U.S. Supreme Court Justice, Sandra Day O'Connor. During Reagan's two terms he appointed 1,400 women to various policy making positions. President Reagan was an optimist and gave the American people hope.
What is sad, that it took this long for someone to stand up and say something, a student who wasn't even born during Reagan's presidency.
