Laura Rambeau Lee(1)The heavy hand of government has been at work for some time now.  Many of us in the Tea Party movement got together and in 2010 were able to elect and establish a Republican majority in the House of Representatives.  I believe this true grass roots movement took the progressives by surprise with this accomplishment.  What did they do?  They made it impossible for these conservative groups to establish themselves as 501(c)(3) corporations, severely limiting their ability to raise funds and do the job they wanted to do leading into the 2012 elections, which was impart the conservative message to as many people as possible.  The progressives on the right talked the talk and got conservatives to support them, only to show their true colors once elected and turning their backs on we who supported, campaigned and worked for them.  So here we see federal prosecutors investigating Dinesh D’Souza’s campaign contributions.  Our government has become completely partisan.  If one supports the progressive agenda they will not be questioned.  But if one speaks out against the current administration you will be targeted.  This is what concerns me.  Selective application of the law. We are no longer a country where the rule of law applies equally to each and every one of us.  It is only going to get worse as we enter the 2014 election cycle.
